It’s Friday and I’m dancing in the Rain!!

Yes!!

 I am dancing thru the rain drops!!  Past Radio City Music Hall & running straight home!!!  Another eventful week here in the city. 

Tomorrow I will be helping out with YuCA the Arts Organization at my Church to complete what I call The Children’s Church Mural - Bronx Style.

YaY!!   I promise to post pictures on Monday of our wonderful Saturday Painting Time!!

Magic Hour

Magic sometimes comes straight out of conflict.  This piece was one of the final designs considered to become, A Permanent Public Art Installation or The Metropolitan Transit Authority of NYC

also know a the NYC Subway System

In this piec I wanted to show the battle that rages between DAY & NIGHT.  Darkness cannot exist in the ace of the Light.

This Blood Battle marks a special time of day called

The Magic Hour.

So, we never have to fear the night, because joy & light will always come in the morning!  Have a wonderful weekend you Beautiful People!!!

 That’s right Cornell Men & Women Basketball teams have be envited to the big Dance!!! 

 I love March Madness!!   So, I am chillin’ listening to the bracket selection on CBS and the announcer says: CORNELL & jumped off of the couch and start screaming!!!   I was so happy I never experienced this before!   It’s been 20 years, long before I was at Cornell, since they danced at the tournament and I am just so happy!!!    I even called to tell me mother :O)

 I am a Madness freak!!!  I’m going watch for free on-line any time I want!!!!

Chizzy Friday from the Studio

HappY FriDaY!!!

Yes another week gone by…….  

This is the first Chizzy Friday from the Studio!!!

YaY!!!

So on Fridays until whenever….   I would like to take some time to talk about some of my works and share them with you. 

 

RU Lookin’ @ Me?

This guy has attitude!! 

To spare!!

He  comes from this amazing image that came to me of a proud rooster.  He speaks too me..

  In a LOUD VOICE!! 

Allot of men adore him!  One collector said, “He looks like he gonna’ cut me! I want him right now!!”

Some lady collectors love him because he looks like a portrait not a rooster and for her he tells of a life not unlike yours or mine.   He shares in our own human struggle

Basically he been through the war and won the battle. 

 

The Spring Totem Pole

This piece is something I have wanted to do for a few years.  

In that I wanted to create a Totem Pole comprised of faces.  I first thought them would be human face, but that was not what it was ment to be.  

Like with many things I create, this idea bounced around in my head for months, than years and during all that time I don’t see the finished image.   It is like I was seeing a dream thru a dark veil.

It remained in my head pulling at my mind.  

Pulling, pulling, Pulling

but near coming.

It needed time to take it’s form.

With the totem idea, the fantasy was always so beautiful in my mind, but for years I couldn’t grab hold of that fantasy & make intangible.   It lived with me as a vapor of imagining, dancing around me with all the potential and creativity of something imagined but yet not created.

But suddenly the totem came to me in a rush.  It’s as if the the idea was waiting for the right key so it could be unlocked and born into the world.  Only than was it allowed to live and breath with us for a little while here on earth.    I believe The Spring Totem, will be the mother to a fuller series of totem paintings.

Chiz Leaping through the Year!!!

Hello you beautiful people!!!

It has proven to be an exciting and productive week!!!  

So much to do!   In just 24 little hours…..   where is that 25th Hour when you need it?  

 I must be trapped in that movie…   hehehe..

Well, I am getting ready for my show at Creole in Harlem nYc, USA!

But, but, butt …..   I am threatened again my the weather man that says, we here in NYC are going to buried upto our neck in the white stuff!  

Snow!!!   NOooooo!

Say it isn’t so, that there will be no snow.  :O(

Well, there is always next week and the next show and the running and the ripping trying to get everything down by the magic hour.
